New Skipper in Dunedin
By Eddie Michels on April 29, 2018The Dunedin Blue Jays have a new manager for the 2018 season he’s Casey Candaele. Candaele played nine years in the show, three with the Montreal Expos as an infielder but that isn’t his strongest Canadian connection. You see his mother Helen Callaghan St. Auben is from Vancouver, BC and along with his aunt are in the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame. You see the new manager’s mother and aunt both played in the AAGPBL and were both inducted into the CBHOF along with 62 other Canadian women who also played in the AAGPBL.
