Rays Giveaways – Love the Maddon Gnome

ST. PETERSBURG, FLA. —The Tampa Bay Rays announced the promotional schedule for the 2013 regular season.  The Rays open at home  Tuesday, April 2 at 3:10 p.m. against the Baltimore Orioles.

Unique giveaway items throughout the year include a David Price Cy Young Figurine presented by the Tampa Bay Times to the first 20,000 fans on April 6, a Joe Maddon Gnome presented by Sun Sports on April 24 and a bobblehead of Astro, Price’s pet French bulldog, presented by DEX Imaging on April 21.  A full list of giveaways throughout the season is below.

A returning tradition with new complimentary features is Family Fun Days presented by the Tampa Bay Times.  Every Rays Sunday home game will feature free parking for cars with four or more passengers, a giveaway for kids 14 and under and a variety of activities for kids on the concourse, all now free courtesy of the Tampa Bay Times.  The complimentary concourse activities include the Rays Carnival, Grand Slam Alley, Power Alley Batting Cage, Speed Pitch, Coaches Corner, Raymond’s Art Studio, Pop Noggins Interactive Video and Topps Make Your Own Baseball Card. In addition, kids will be able the run the bases after the game and participate in a Wiffle ball home run derby.  Extra entertainers will also be provided on Sundays including face painters, glitter tattoo artists, magicians, mimes, stilt walkers, jugglers, and balloon artists.
