Back in Spring-ness

The Toronto Blue Jays open their 38th spring training, all in Dunedin, Florida, today as pitchers and catchers hold their first workouts. The players will bus to the team's minor league Mattick Complex for workouts then return to the Florida Auto Exchange Stadium where they are headquartered. The position players report for physicals on the 26th with the first full team workout scheduled for the 27th. The opening game against the Pittsburgh Pirates is March 3, 2015 in Dunedin. New faces are showing up in Dunedin with spring training 2015 fast approaching.  RSEN’s Eddie Michels was out in the field today and he caught up with these guys throwing long toss at the Mattick Complex.  


Newly acquired catcher Russell Martin arrives at the Blue Jays Mattick Complex in Dunedin on Tuesday February 10th.  Acquired as a free agent Martin signed a five-year $82-million contract with the team during the off season after spending two years with the Pirates.
