The Blue Jays have traded Brady Dragmire to the Pittsburgh Pirates for cash considerations. Dragmire was drafted in the 17th round of the 2011 First Year Player Draft. BLUE JAYS TRADE PAT VENDITTE

The Blue Jays have traded pitcher Pat Venditte to the Seattle Mariners for a player to be named later.  Pat Vendiette appeared in eight games for the Blue Jays this season posting a 5.19 ERA.  In 25 games, two starts with Buffalo (AAA) he has posted a 2-1 record with a 4.37 ERA. (EDDIE MICHELS PHOTO)

Cecil throws 24

Lefty Brett Cecil (left lat) threw 24-pitches in a shortened inning on Saturday against recent Jays draft picks.  With a 90-91 MPH fastball and a 82-83 MPH breaking ball Cecil said afterwards, “I feel good.”  It’s not known when Cecil will pitch next. (EDDIE MICHELS PHOTO)
