DUNEDIN, Fla.–Marcus Knecht and Dalton Pompey standing outside the clubhouse door played in

their first spring major league game on Wednesday as the Toronto Blue Jays and Boston Red Sox played to a nine inning 3-3 tie.

Knecht played left for two innings and had an infield single in the eighth while Pompey played two innings in right but lined out to short in the eighth.
“Yea I am good”, said Pompey, excited to be playing in the game, while Knecht said “It’s good experience, it’s good to be on the field again.”
Knecht did play with Toronto during the spring of 2011 again the Canadian National Jr. team during
