DUNEDIN, FLA.–Blue Jays RHP Brandon Morrow went 3 2/3 innings (four up and downs) on Tuesday against Blue Jays Double-A and Triple-A players at the team’s minor league complex.
Morrow allowed two runs on four hits while walking two and striking out two on 63-pitches, 36 for strikes.
“Much better, much better, I was keeping the ball down, I felt much better with it,” said Morrow of the command he had of his fastball  “The first inning it was just a little off and then after that I was sticking it pretty good.  All in all it was a good day I felt really good with my curve ball, slider and split could have been better but I made some good pitches with those too.”
“I definitely feel stronger than the last time,” said Morrow of his previous appearances, “I put a little bit more into it I think especially the way the last couple of times went.  Mentally, I am a little bit more I think.”
As to when he will pitch again Morrow said, “I have another extra day so it will be six days, I don’t know where or when but I have one extra day of rest.”

Facing a squad of Double-A and Triple-A Blue Jay players Mark Buehrle went 4 1/3 innings, six up and downs giving up three runs, two earned on five hits while walking two and striking out three. Buehrle threw 81-pitches, 62 for strikes. (EDDIE MICHELS/PHOTO)
