Santana, Bautista, Saunders, Alomar & Team Canada

Dunedin, Fla.– Former two time CY Young winner LHP Johan Santana (shoulder) takes a break after his daily workout at the Blue Jays Florida Auto Exchange Stadium. “I’ve been throwing for 5 or 6 days on flat ground at 60′”, said Santana, “It’s a day at a time then go from there.” After spring training ends Santana will probably be doing his workouts and rehab at the team’s Mattick Complex.

ROBBIE ALOMAR INSTRUCTS TEAM CANADA

Baseball prospect Josh Naylor of Mississigua, Ont. takes grounders at first during the first workouts for the Canadian National Junior team at the Walter Fuller Complex in St. Petersburg. The team will be playing a Toronto Blue Jays split-squad on Sunday at the Florida Auto Exchange Stadium, game time 1:07 PM. In attendance were 10-scouts from major league organizations.
