Travis is Honda POM

Blue Jays rookie second baseman Devon Travis has captured the Honda Player of the Month Award for April in a unanimous vote by the Toronto Chapter of the BBWAA.  Honda, the official vehicle of the Blue Jays, will make a donation to the charity Devon’s choosing.

Travis batted .325 in April and led the Blue Jays with six home runs, 19 RBI, 12 extra base hits, a .393 on-base percentage and a .625 slugging percentage. Travis led all rookies in Major League Baseball in batting average, hits (26), HR, extra base hits, total bases, on-base percentage and slugging percentage.
