2nd Annual “Dolfan” Ticket Raffle
By ROCKET SPORTS and ENTERTAINMENT NETWORK on June 3, 2014Wellington, Fla. – – The football season is coming upon us and the Tyler McLellan Foundation is happy to announce they are again teaming up with the Jim Jensen 11 Foundation this year for the 2nd Annual “Dolfan” Ticket Raffle”. Last year, the Jim Jensen 11 Foundation was chosen to receive a portion of the proceeds for this event. This year, both foundations are joining together to help raise awareness and money for their causes.
Former Miami Dolphin Jim “Crash” Jensen is remembered as a multi positional player (QB, WR & Special Teams) and got his nickname “Crash” from famed sports announcer Howard Cosell. Through his years in the NFL, Jim has supported many charities with the “Jim Jensen Celebrity Charity Golf Classic” which continued for twelve years benefiting many different organizations such as: Special Olympics, Cerebral Palsy and Cystic Fibrosis. Due to this incredible experience he decided to start the Jim Jensen 11 Foundation in 2012.
Both foundations will be traveling to supporting sports bars in the Palm Beach, Broward and Miami Dade county area to help raise awareness to their causes as well as promoting and selling tickets for the event.
TMF President Kevin McLellan says, “Last years event was received very well by the Dolphin fans and was a good start to building the foundation of this annual event.”
McLellan adds: we will draw three winners; the Grand Prize winner will receive: 2 VIP tickets to the December 28th home game against the New York Jets. The Grand Prize drawing will be held December 1st.
