DOLFAN TICKET RAFFLE-GRAND PRIZE DRAWING
By ROCKET SPORTS and ENTERTAINMENT NETWORK on September 5, 2013With the “Dolfan Ticket Raffle” Tour coming to an end last week in Royal Palm Beach, The Tyler McLellan Foundation is now getting ready for the Grand Prize drawing on Sunday September 15th atBru’s Room in Coconut Creek. The event will consist of the Grand Prize drawing, Dolphin Trivia, a Silent Auction, and a “Most Fanatical Dolfan” contest. The “Most Fanatical Dolfan” contest will have three former Miami Dolphin greats: Jim “Crash” Jensen, Killer “B” Bob Brudzinski and 2013 Ring of Honor inductee John Offerdahl along with Big Papa Pump, and “The Fred” on the judging panel.
In the grand prize drawing, they will draw three winners. the Grand Prize winner will receive: 2 VIPtickets (Sec.139 Row 4) to the home opener on September 22nd against the Atlanta Falcons”, 2ndprize is an autographed guitar by the band “Journey, and 3rd prize will be an autographed football by Miami Dolphin Ritchie Incognito. Dolphin Trivia winners will receive Bru’s Room gift certificates, in the “Most Fanatical Dolfan” contest the winner will receive a 2010 Autographed Miami Dolphin Ball with over fifteen players such as: Devon Bess, Brian Hartline, Rich Camarillo, Dan Carpenter and more. The silent auction will have some great items such as: a 2 day one night stay at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, a weekend rental of a Lexus, Miami Dolphin Tickets and more.

The benefactor of this fundraiser will be The Jim Jensen 11 Foundation, who will receive a portion of the proceeds from the raffle. Former Miami Dolphin Jim “Crash” Jensen is remembered a multi positional player (QB, WR & Special Teams) and got his nickname “Crash” from famed sports announcer Howard Cosell.

NOTE:
The Wellington foundation was started after the McLellan’s lost their 15-year old son Tyler in an “Angel Flight” plane crash in Tampa on July 17, 2008. Since then, they have done everything they could to raise money for youth sports in South Florida. The foundation is geared towards rewarding perseverance and not allowing a family’s finances to hold players back.
The Jim Jensen 11 Foundation is a not-for-profit organization created to put into motion opportunities for children, young adults and families to receive the financial support necessary to facilitate clinical interventions and community-based services to foster social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth.
