Halladay Enshrined at the Jack
By Eddie Michels on September 17, 2019 The City of Clearwater, Florida dedicated a new monument on Tuesday September 16th at 9 AM at Jack Russell Memorial Stadium honoring the late Roy “Doc” Halladay. Halladay, a former Blue Jay and Phillie right-hander passed away on November 7, 2017 in a plane crash and was inducted posthumously into the Baseball Hall of Fame this past July in Cooperstown, N.Y. The stadium has a monument park located behind the seats dedicated to baseball greats who have played at the stadium.
