CLEARWATER, FLA.–GCL Blue Jays infielder Justin Atkinson of Surry BC. flies out to center on Friday July 20, 2012 against the Phillies. Unfortunately Atkinson was 0-4 on the day dropping his average to .261.

Atkinson who will be turning 19 years old on Tuesday July 24th hit .279 in 12 games in 2011 for the GCL Blue jays when he started the season at just 17 years old. He was drafted in the 26th round of last year’s amateur draft.
