Young Continues Rehab

CLEARWATER, FLA.–Phillies outfielder Delmon Young (off season right ankle surgery) continues his rehab with the team’s extended spring squad. Today Young played right field and batted his normal turn at the plate (third). In the past this spring Young would hit third every inning for the first five or six innings then hit the showers. The photo shows Young going down swinging.

Right handed hurlers Jesen Therrien of the Phillies (left) and Dayton Dawe of the Yankees (right) have a chat prior to the team’s extended spring game at the Phillies Carpenter Complex. It was overheard that they were talking about this past off season. Therrien and Dawe were teammates on the Canadian National Jr. team a few years back. Jesen Therrien is from Montreal and Dayton Dawe is from London, Ontario. (EDDIE MICHELS/PHOTO)
