Davis Continues Rehab over the Weekend, Homers

DUNEDIN, Fla.–Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Rajai Davis (torn left hamstring) went 1-3 with a solo homer as the DH for Class-A

      “No there is not,” said Davis of any running stress of a home run trot, “It’s nice just to get out there and play again.”
      “It felt good out there and the first at bat was a good tester,” said Davis of running out a grounder, “But I think it’s (hamstring) is getting stronger, everyday it’s improving and that’s what I am looking forward too.”
     On the 15-day DL since August 14, Davis was hitting .238 with one homer and 29 RBI with 34 stolen bases.
     As to when he will play again Davis said, “I am not sure but I expect to be here for the next day then after that I expect to play it by ear, tomorrow I will play in the outfield.”
