Aaron Laffey on the Hill

The Blue Jays have reported that Lefty Laffey (Aaron Laffey) will start tonight in the Bronx against the Bombers. Right-hander Josh Johnson will miss the start as a precaution after experiencing right triceps tightness.  Johnson is 0-1 on the season starting four games with a 6.86 ERA.

This will be Laffey’s first Jays appearance.  Laffey was claimed on waivers from the New York Mets just this week on the 23rd.
