Always Hustling

Grimsby, Ont. native Dave Attridge is always hustling especially during game one of the Florida State League match up between Lakeland and Dunedin.  In his fourth year in the pros Attridge has worked in the rookie level GCL, New York Penn League, Midwestern League and presently the Upper-A Florida State League.  The first ejection to Attridge’s credit was close to home as in August 2012 he eject the Blue Jays GCL manager John Schneider for arguing a game ending call at the plate against the Tigers in Lakeland.  The umpire got the call right as I was the game’s official scorer and could see the play clearly from the tower at the Tigers complex.  Schneider is presently the manager for the Blue Jays affiliate Vancouver Canadians in the Northwest League.
