LAKELAND, FLA.–Baseball players are found all over the world,  even down under where the Detroit Tigers found RHP Dean Aldridge.  Signed as a non-drafted free agent on May 29, 2012 the 18-year old native of Sydney, Australia made his pro debut on Monday June 24, 2013.  Facing the Astros squad in the Northeastern Division of the rookie level Gulf Coast League Aldridge tossed three shutout innings allowing just two hits while walking one and striking out one.
