JOSE BAUTISTA NAMED HONDA PLAYER OF THE MONTH

TORONTO BLUE JAYS OF JOSE BAUTISTA was unanimously voted as the
Honda PLAYER OF THE MONTH for April by the TORONTO CHAPTER of the BBWAA.
Honda, the official vehicle of the Blue Jays, will make a donation to the
charity of Jose Bautista?s choosing.

BAUTISTA, 30, hit an American League best .366 (30-82) in April with
15 RBI. The 6-0, 197lb. right-handed hitter also led the American League
with nine home runs, 25 runs scored, 64 total bases, 28 walks, .532 on-base
percentage and a .780 slugging percentage. Last season Bautista
captured Honda Player of the Month honours in May, July and August.
