BLUE JAYS RECALL LUIS PEREZ

        The TORONTO BLUE JAYS have recalled LHP LUIS PEREZ from the Las Vegas 51s of the Pacific Coast League (AAA).

        PEREZ, 26, made one start with Las Vegas this season, picking up the victory (5.0IP, 4H, 4ER, 3BB, 6K). The 6-0, 160lb. lefthander has compiled a career minor league record of 33-40 with a 3.85 ERA in 126 appearances (118 starts). The Guayubin, Dominican Republic native was originally signed by the Toronto Blue Jays as a non-drafted free agent in July of 2003.
