BLUE JAYS SIGN 22 PLAYERS FROM 2012 DRAFT

The TORONTO BLUE JAYS have signed 22 of the 44 players selected from the 2012 First Year Player Draft including one of their 1^st round picks, OF D.J. DAVIS (17^thoverall) and have come to terms with seven non-drafted free agents.

DAVIS, 17, was selected by Toronto in the 1^st round, 17^th overall, in the 2012 First Year Player Draft. The 5’11” 170 lb. outfielder played for Stone County High School in Wiggins, Mississippi. The left-handed hitter appeared in 26 games for the Tomcats this season, batting .373 (25-67) with four doubles, three triples, seven home runs and 27 RBI.
