BLUE JAYS SIGN CABRERA – Really? No Really!

By on November 20, 2012
As discussed yesterday on the Rocket Sports & Entertainment Show by Rick Sassone,  Melky Cabrera is rewarded by the Toronto Blue Jays for breaking league MLB policy and deceiving… well deceiving everyone.  Melky’s deception
Cabrera, 28, appeared in 113 games for the San Francisco Giants last season batting a league-leading .346 with 25 doubles, 10 triples, 11 home runs, 60 RBI and 13 stolen bases. The Bajos de Haina, Dominican Republic native was suspended on August 15 for 50 games after a positive testosterone test and has completed the terms, making him eligible for opening day. The 6-0, 200 lb., switch-hitter has appeared in 984 career games with the New York Yankees (2005-09), Atlanta (2010), Kansas City (2011) and San Francisco (2012), posting a .284 average with 69 home runs and 417 RBI over eight seasons.
