Clearwater Lives

Facing the possibility of the second half FSL Northern Division Pennant race being over Friday the Clearwater Threshers took it to the division leading Dunedin Blue Jays 4-2.  Clearwater starter lefty Elniery Garcia did the damage on the visitors tossing seven solid innings allowing just one run on two hits, walking three but striking out 11.  The win gave Garcia a 12-4 record on the season.  The same teams go at it again in Clearwater on Saturday with a scheduled 6:15 first pitch.
