Coco does not Believe in 108
By ROCKET SPORTS and ENTERTAINMENT NETWORK on October 29, 2016“Okay other than 108 stitches in a baseball, 108 beads in a rosary (?) and 108 years since the Cubs won a series it was 108 years ago in 1908 that Jack Norwood wrote Take Me Out to the Ball Game and in 1908 Sam “Wahoo” Crawford played for the Tigers who lost to the Cubs in five game -Could it finally be the Cubs Year? Maybe!” (EDDIE MICHELS)
But there is no joy in Chi-town as the Cubbies go down 2-1 dropping game 3 by the smallest margin possible 1-0. Coco Crisp was the offensive hero with a pinch hit RBI just before the Bill Murray rendition of the 1908 iconic ‘Take Me Out to the Ballpark.’
But stay tuned… game 4 Saturday night as the Tribe send Cory Kluber to the mound and John Lackey goes for the Cubbies.
