D-Jays lose in 13 Despite Greene’s Good Start

Blue Jays prospect Conner Greene went 5 2/3 innings against the Clearwater Threshers on Tuesday night at Brighthouse Field. Greene allowed one run on six hits while walking six and striking out three lowering his season ERA. to 3.13. Greene got himself in trouble with the game pitch clock but got out of it smartly. After exceeding his time to deliver a pitch the Threshers hitter got a called ball four and advanced to first to load the bases with one away. Greene got the next hitter to ground into a 3-2-3 double play to end the inning.
