With a fantasy camper at bat plate umpire Gary Glover kind of gets in tight behind the catcher for a good reason.  It seems that Glover forget to put on his shin guards prior to leaving the umpires room.  Not to worry he escaped without injury.  As a note Glover’s brother in law, Vince Horsman was pitching on an adjacent as the two gentlemen married twin sisters.  Their wive’s father just happens to be former Toronto Blue Jay SS Hector Torres.
