DJ Rehabbing over the Holiday Week
By Eddie Michels on July 5, 2013TAMPA, FLA. — Yankees captain Derek Jeter was busy this holiday week in Tampa as he continues his rehab on Wednesday. Working hard to get back in the line-up from an ankle injury, Jeter spent a good amount of time on the base paths with no apparent issues.
Above, New York Yankee prospect Omar Diago Luis made his pro debut on Wednesday July 3, 2013 for the rookie level GCL Yankees. A native of Sancti Spiritis, Cuba Luis went an inning and a third allowing an unearned run on one hit while walking three and striking out four. Luis highlight has to be that he can throw breaking balls for strikes when he is behind in the count.
