CLEARWATER, FLA.–Phillies left-hander Cliff Lee didn’t make the two hour bus trip to Orlando to play the Braves today instead he stayed in Clearwater.¬† Lee pitched for Triple-A Lehigh Valley against the Pirates Triple-A Nashville squad.

Phillies SS Jimmy Rollins takes a called third strike against the Pirates Triple-A Nashville squad at the Phillies Carpenter Complex.  By playing for Triple-A Lehigh Valley today.  Rollins avoided a two hour bus trip on I-4.



Catcher Eric Kratz grounds out pitcher to first at the Carpenter Complex on Monday March 18, 2013. Kratz didn’t make the Phillies road trip to play the Braves instead he caught lefty Cliff Lee pitching for Triple-A Lehigh Valley. Baring any injurys Kratz will be the Phillies opening day starter while Carlos Ruiz serves his 25-game suspension for drugs.
