The Toronto Blue Jays have signed outfielder Domonic Brown to a minor league contract with an invitation to attend Major League Spring Training.

He appeared in 63 games for the Philadelphia Phillies last season posting a .228 batting average with five home runs and 25 runs batted in.  The 6-5, 225lb. left handed hitter has appeared in 493 games over six seasons with the Phillies posting a .246 average with 54 home runs and 229 RBI with 23 stolen bases.  The Zephyrhills, Florida native was the Phillies 20th round selection in the 2006 amateur draft.
