Well Thursday the 29th was BUGOUT DAY 3 on my colander and I am still in Crestview, Fl. enjoying the non-stormy weather eh? Spent another day at VFW Post 5450 well a couple of hours when it opened and an hour later when they changed bartenders. No problems, a great place for veterans to gather, an enjoyable time was had by this VET and the soda pop is cold. Let’s see I also got the oil changed on my late wife Karen’s Jeep and bought a couple of packages of gum; boy am I tired. Heck tomorrow I have to head back to Clearwater so until then… As a closing note I was given a life membership to VFW Post 5540 in Phoenix, NY about 10-plus years ago but I didn’t seem to have any problems with the close post number eh? Okay campers I am now back at my home in Clearwater after living in a Holiday Inn Express for three nights I have survived. The photo shows potable water being brought in on I 10 and I also so electric repair vehicles with Nebraska plates moving east bound on that interstate. Then there was a flatbed loaded with generators the emergency still must be on. Well, it’s good to be home safe and sound but in some places on US 19 and a short span on US 90 I saw some stuff that took me back in time. You all just take these roads, old signs, old businesses and maybe just maybe a sight from the past. Try it sometime eh?
