Gustavo! He’s back…

Former Blue Jays farmhand Gustavo Pierre returned to the team who signed him on Thursday but this time as a pitcher not an infielder.  Signed by the Blue Jays in 2008 out of the Dominican as an infielder he spent from 2009 through 2014 in the minors reaching Double-A New Hampshire.  Then on August 31, 2014 Pierre was traded to the Philadelphia Phillies for John Mayberry Jr.  Pierre was let go by the Phillies Double-A Reading on July 28, 2015 and now is at the Blue Jays Mattick Complex working on the transformation to the mound.
