DUNEDIN, FLA.–Sporting a fastball at 89-90 MPH according to Toronto Blue Jays coaches Jeff Hoffman threw his second BP session since “Tommy John Surgery” last May. Hoffman, Toronto’s first pick, ninth overall in the June 2014 Amateur Draft, threw 15-pitches off the mound on Friday January 9, 2015 despite temperatures in the low 50’s. Hoffman appeared relaxed and confident both during warm ups and his time on the mound.
