Hollon, Doubront, Hoffman

Clinton Hollon faced opposition hitters for the first time on Wednesday since surgery last spring. Facing a Yankee extended spring squad Hollon went one inning striking out two on 15-pitches, nine for strikes. His fastball was a consistent 91-93 MPH, topping out at 95 MPH.
Former Red Sox and Cubs hurler Felix Doubront tossed two scoreless innings in an extended spring game against the Yankees at the Mattick Complex on Wednesday. Doubront’s fastball was a consistent 90-91 MPH topping out at 93 MPH.
Blue Jays number one pick in last June’s draft Jeff Hoffman threw three scoreless innings for his longest outing since Tommy John Surgery last May 14th. Facing a Yankees extended spring squad Hoffman allowed one hit while walking two and striking out four on 51-pitches. His fastball was steady at 96 MPH, rising to 99 MPH.
