1st Rounder Hoffman make Progress

DUNEDIN, FLA.–The Toronto Blue Jays first round pick in last years June draft RHP Jeff Hoffman continues to improve and make progress after last May’s “Tommy John Surgery.” The ninth pick overall threw about 25-30 pitches on flat ground Wednesday. Hoffman threw a 15-pitch bullpen session for the first time on Monday January 5, 2015 and is scheduled to throw another on Friday January 9, 2015 at the team’s Mattick Complex.
