Jeff Hoffman threw his fourth bullpen session on Friday January 16, 2015 at the Blue Jays Mattick Complex. The Jays first pick in the 2014 June Draft even after having “Tommy John Surgery” in May Hoffman threw 20-pitches off the mound. During his warm up session on flat ground he also snapped off a half a dozen breaking balls. BLUE JAYS SIGN KAWASAKI
The Blue Jays have signed Iinfielder Munenori Kawasaki to a minor league contract with an invite to Major League spring training.
Kawasaki only made 5 errors in 220 chances at short in 2013 for a .977 fielding percentage. (EDDIE MICHELS/PHOTO)
ESTRADA AGREES TO TERMS
The Blue Jays have agreed to terms on a one year $3.9 million dollar contract with right-handed pitcher Marco Estrada and avoided arbitration.
