Toronto’s number one pick in the 2014 June Draft Jeff Hoffman extended his scoreless streak to 13 2/3 innings on Thursday but there it ended.  Facing Charlotte in the top of the fifth the visitors first two hitters hit solo homers off Hoffman who then got two quick outs before a double and a walk ended his night at the 75-pitch limit.  Phil Kish relieved Hoffman but walked two batters before getting the innings third out.  Hoffman’s final line was 4 2/3 innings allowing three runs on five hits while walking three and striking out three.  He was not involved in the final decision of Dunedin’s 4-3 win.
