Despite making $7.5 million guaranteed this season LHP Ricky Romero goes the extra mile during workouts in his attempt to get back to the majors. Here Romero takes extra PFP after the other players in extended spring have already left for the showers.

Felix Doubront continues his quest to regain his velocity during a bull[pen session on Saturday at the Mattick Complex. Only scheduled to throw 25-pitches Doubront threw 30 with his final fastball hitting 92 MPH on the radar gun. Doubront threw a consistent 88 MPH fastball and 74 MPH curve. Released by the Cubs on March 28th Doubront was signed as a free agent by the Blue Jays on April 2nd.
