Hero Breaks up No-No
By Eddie Michels on November 6, 2015When a player get carried off the field it usually means he got the winning hit or threw a perfect game but not this Venezuelan player. This gentlemen entered the game against the Raleigh Red Sox with two out in the bottom of the ninth down and his team down 7-0. All that he did was hit a bloop single to right to break up a no hitter. When the next hitter struck out looking his teammates rushed from the third base dugout and carried him off the field in triumph even though the loss ended their play in the Men’s Senior Baseball League Fall Classic.
