Instructional Broken Bat

Even in an Instructional League game a batters at bat can be expensive just ask Yankee prospect Rashad Crawford.  The photo shows Crawford fouling off a pitch and breaking his bat in the process a approximate $100.00 at bat.

After replacing the broken bat with a new one on Thursday Crawford got himself a single to right against the Phillies at Brighthouse Field in Clearwater.  The Instructional games will continue for about another 10-days.
