Toronto Blue Jays manager John Gibbons likes what he see in right-hander Marcus Stroman even though he has yet to play above Double-A. “The think what jumps out at me was his confidence.” said Gibbons of Stroman of pitching last spring in a game in Philadelphia. “His confidence is having the ball and he has a chance to make this team.” In two seasons since being Toronto’s first pick in the June 2012 amateur draft Stroman is 12-5 with a 3.30 ERA between A and Double-A.
