Little League Baseball in a Positive Way

OSWEGO, N.Y.–This past Memorial Day Weekend I happened to be in Oswego, N.Y. doing a favor for some little league parents I met taking photos of their sons playing in the U 10 Stars and Strikes Tournament.  Now photo one is of a player hitting a double with two RBI’s and the second is of a reliever warming up but that is not my point here it is.  The parents were totally positive, fans not a bad word was heard at all during the game from anyone anywhere and I mean it.  Everything was in a positive manner towards the kids and everybody around and that was at all the fields in this four-field complex called Legions.  I hope things continue in this direction as it will not only help the kids but the game of baseball in the present thru the future.  Of course, the games one umpire left a lot to be hoped for but still good show parents.

A PS here and that is the teams were from Vestal and Edna, N.Y. the winner really didn’t matter even though it was one squads first of the season.
