Oliver and Hurdle talk Hitting, Gose Hustles

BRADENTON, FLA. – Toronto Blue Jays LHP Darren Oliver talks hitting with his former manager now Pirates manager Clint Hurdle Sunday March 4, 2012 at McKechnie Field in Bradenton.

“He can hit,” said Hurdle of Oliver, “I touched him up with the wood in 2010 in case he got into and inter league game.”

Oliver is a career .221 hitter with one homer and 20 RBI, walking eight times and striking out 74.
