Sanchez and Castro doing Work
By Eddie Michels on June 18, 2015
(ABOVE AND BELOW) Toronto Blue Jays RHP Aaron Sanchez (lat injury) fielded ground balls on Thursday with minor league pitchers also rehabbing at the team’s Mattick Complex. Sanchez did not do any throwing saying only, “I honestly don’t know yet,” as to when he will start throwing, “We haven’t gotten that far yet.”
(BELOW) Former Toronto Blue Jays closer Miguel Castro (right hand injury) threw his first bullpen session since he was injured on May 30th while playing for Triple-A Buffalo. Castro threw 25-pitches reporting no problems. Afterwards the 20-year old did say he would throw another session on Saturday then pitch in a game (GCL) on Tuesday or Wednesday.
