Sanchez and Stroman Work-out

Dunedin, FLA. — A couple of first rounders Marcus Stroman and Aaron Sanchez threw long toss at the Blue Jays Mattick Complex in Dunedin yesterday. Camp opens up for pitchers and catchers on February 22nd.

Both Sanchez and Stroman, both first round draft picks were up with the Jays in 2014. Sanchez, drafted in 2010 out of Barstow High School (CA) was 2-2 with a 1.09 ERA in 24 games all in relief in Toronto last year. Stroman was drafted in 2012 out of Duke University and was 11-6 with a 3.65 ERA in Toronto in 26 games which he started 20.

Both pitchers, getting an early start in 2015, expect to make a great impact for the Jays staff.
