A SILK AND SMOOTH VICTORY FOR CAMPFORT

“Silky” Wilky Campfort (11-1-0, 5 KOs), squared off against Djolevi Ballogou (8-4-0, 6 KOs), of Togo. You can certainly see the fury when Campfort steps into the ring.  This kid took action early on as soon as the bell rang to bring a fight to Ballogou. The exchange of punches in this fight gave Campfort opportunities to showcase his aggressive style and outworked the fading Ballogou who hung in there with a series of his own,  but not enough to impress the scores of the judges that were 58-56 and 59-55 twice, all for “Silky” Wilky Campfort and in my opinion needs to take his fight to the next level.

continues to drive forward full speed with another exciting fight card featuring a tremendous main event. Undefeated bantamweight Ray Ximenez (8-0, 3 KO) captured the NBA Jr. Intercontinental Title infront of a sold out crowed at the DoubleTree Westshore in Tampa. Ximenez defeated Jose “Chilli” Rivera in what kind of  look like a grudge match between the two. Ximenez showed good ringmanship and balance as he countered Rivera in exchange all night long. Ximenez won the bout effectively and favored in the judges scorecards 78-74 with all three judges for the unanimous decision.
