Smoral Improving

Former first round pick (2012) Matt Smoral had one of his better outings on Thursday against the Yankees extended squad.  Smoral went just one inning allowing two hits and striking out one while benefiting from a 6-4-3 double play over his 10-pitch inning.  All spring Smoral has struggled with his control at one time throwing 30-pitches and only recording one out.
