Four years ago when things got tough in Cleveland Lebron got going. The Cavs outlook was bleak and what did King James do? He ran down south for he was afraid to go through a rebuilding time. He so famously took his talents to South Beach and teamed up with his pals. Since then he won two championships and went to all 4 Finals. All the while the Cavs were collecting lottery pick after lottery pick. Now that his Cramps have gotten so bad, his brother in arms (Wade) can hardly move and The King is at it again.

Now he has removed his talents from South Beach and will relocating back in the North Eastern area of Ohio, the fans in Cleveland love him again, never mind they burned his jerseys and tore up all the banners around town, forget the hate spewed rants on the radio and the icing on the cake… Dan Gilberts letter. The fans have forgiven him, they love their native born son and the past is the past, as long as he stays that is.

Lebron wrote an eloquent essay about how he is returning home and how he made mistakes in the past, I call bullshit to this, the fact is he looked at what he had to work with in Miami compared to the assets he has in Cleveland and he picked the team and path of least resistance. He took the team with Kyrie, Waiters, Wiggins, Bennett, and Thompson over a crippled Wade and Bosh. He took the team with a future so bright it could blind a solar flare over a team that was at one time WHITE HOT but now just a pile of smoldering embers.

At this point I’m not sure how long will stick around and be a home town guy, but I am certain of this, if the Cavs fail to make the finals and win he will revert to his old ways, his cowardly ways and he will yet again leave the region in dramatic fashion just as he left 4 years ago and just as he left Miami. That’s not being loyal that’s being weak.

Lebron is not Loyal, it’s all for him, please don’t think for one moment that the words he put in his essay was honest or from the heart. It is a wonderful ploy to become loved and wanted again. He wanted to make all those fans in Cleveland love him again. Tim Duncan stuck with the Spurs and Kobe with the Lakers, that’s loyalty; almost 20 years in the league and still with the same team, they didn’t need to have meetings with other superstars to and plan a threesome, nope they stuck it out through thick and thin and what did they do? They won a lot of rings between the two of them, now that is LOYALTY.

Lebron James likes to jump from greener pasture to greener pasture, it’s like an addiction or maybe it’s like fight or flight and his weakness and cowardly ways simmer to the top when the tough gets going. Don’t think he will stick around in Cleveland if rings aren’t won, he left there once and I promise you he’ll do it again. His essay for the fans is just a great marketing tool to rebrand himself and I’m not buying it, I’m not even willing to rent or lease it.

I wonder what will happen the second Kyrie gets hurt (again) and misses a chunk of games (as usual). I wonder how things will go when Coach Blatt doesn’t stroke his ego the way Coach Brown did and the way Spo have both done. . I wonder who will hold his hand at the post-game interviews since Flash isn’t there to sit next to him, but mostly I wonder how the Cavs fans will react when the he up and runs out of town again.  Lebron James, King James is in fact a King, the King of the Cowardly Lions.
