Thresher – Stars for FSL All-Star Game

The Florida State League has announced its roster for the 54th All-Star Game and six Threshers are on the team.
Pitchers Brandon Leibrandt, Ulises Joaquin, Colin Kleven and Mark Leiter plus catcher Andrew Knapp and infielder Angelo Mora were selected from the Clearwater squad. All six are making their first FSL All-Star Game appearance.
Four of the six will be attending the game in St. Lucie – Kleven, Joaquin, Knapp and Mora. Leibrandt was placed on the DL and will not be at the game while Leiter has been promoted to Reading (AA).

The Threshers will be representing the North Division of the FSL playing against the South Division All-Stars. The game is at St. Lucie’s Tradition Field, home of the St. Lucie Mets, on Saturday, June 20, at 7 p.m. Voters included coaches, broadcasters, official scorers, and for the first time, players.
