Young ‘Robs’on fro 1st HR

Canadian Jacob Robson had his first pro homer in his sights except for the efforts of GCL Blue Jays right fielder Chavez Young. In the top of the third Robson connected off Blue Jays hurler Travis Hosterman on a pitch that appeared headed for the area behind the right field fence. Young leaped over the top of the fence at the Mattick Complex and brought the ball back holding Robson to a double.

Also, Robson can flat out fly, his time to first at 3.7 seconds timed by a scout.

Things went the GCL Blue Jays way on Wednesday beating Robson and the Tigers West squad 2-1.
