New Zealand on the Hill

Connor Gleeson of Auckland, New Zealand, shown here throwing a bullpen session is a pitcher for South Florida State College.  The team was in Clearwater to play St. Petersburg College at the Jack Russell Memorial Stadium.  Because baseball is a fairly new sport to those in New Zealand as compared to other country’s Gleeson said, “I started playing at nine.” and as far as his other fellow countryman playing the game in this country he said, “There is one in Iowa and one in Arizona.”
