Sim Game for Stroman

Toronto RHP Marcus Stroman (left knee) threw a three inning simulated game on Monday at the team’s Mattick Complex.  Stroman experienced no problems pitching 15, 15, 10 pitch innings.  He is expected to pitch another, longer simulated game on Friday.

Blue Jays RHP Marcus Stroman played catch on Thursday without the brace on his left knee.  Stroman let it be known he would only be wearing it when throwing off the mound.  He is scheduled to throw off the mound for the second time on Friday at the Mattick Complex.

Freeman wears Collar

The Braves first baseman Freddie Freemen (right oblique) fly’s out to right in the first inning of his first rehab appearance with the GCL Braves on Thursday.  Freemen went 0-3 at the plate but fielded errorless at first recording 10 putouts over five innings.
